Akdeniz Bilişim Zirvesi 2025
Akdeniz Bilişim Zirvesi (Mediterranean Informatics Summit), organised by Antalya Teknokent and Akdeniz University, positions itself as “Anatolia’s largest IT summit”. For the 9th edition, held on 5 December 2025 at the Mimar Sinan Congress Centre in Antalya, I was art director and event production lead: I built the campaign’s visual language, designed every output from social media to the LED stage and 27-metre prints, and ran the control room on the day.

Goal
2025 marked Antalya Teknokent’s 20th year and the summit’s ninth edition. My goal was one visual language that speaks to students and tech companies at the same time and stays recognisable at every scale, from a story on a phone to a 27-metre print. Every output had to carry the Akdeniz University and Teknokent co-branding, while the campaign’s real job was to grow registrations and keep curiosity alive until the day.
Visual system
I built the campaign on the idea of #BilişiminKalbi (“the heart of IT”): a glowing heart and globe of network lines on deep navy, with warm orange bokeh on the left. I took the headline gradient from the green facet of the logo, set every headline in Exo and designed a frosted-glass card for sponsor logos and interface visuals. A fixed footer with the Teknokent logo, date and venue makes every post part of the same family. I animated the key visual with Google Veo for the screens and finished the compositing, retouching and typography by hand in Photoshop and After Effects.
Campaign and video
I structured the campaign like a story: curiosity with “Coming Soon”, trust with the relaunched website, a call to action with the registration announcements, social proof with milestones from 1000+ to 4000+ registrations, and excitement with the speaker reveals. For the 20 speakers I built a system where one template outputs a reel cover, a 15-second reel, an LED ID screen and a website card, so every new name went live across all channels on the same day. For the 10-year film, the Teknokent promo and the “A Message” videos in which speakers invite the audience, I edited the footage supplied to me, corrected colour and audio, and added the graphics.
Stage and venue
The main LED wall was 4000×1000 pixels, a 4:1 ratio. I built the speaker, panel and transition screens as transparent overlays composited live over the animated background, so the control room could switch screens within seconds as the stage moved on. I finished the 18 award-ceremony screens the night before the event. For the venue I prepared large-format prints at real size in Illustrator: a 470×280 cm stage backdrop, a 5.2×4.2 m sponsor wall, a 16 m podium skirt, a 27 m strip under the LED wall, a photo wall, headers, a roll-up and tension banners.
Summit day and award
On the day I ran the control room and the photo and video crews, and coordinated live social media coverage and content flow with the organising teams. At the summit, as co-founder of Mind Shift, I received the “Digital Design Sponsor” award together with Eda Esirik; it was presented by Antalya Teknokent General Manager Dr. İbrahim Yavuz.
